Eric began his athletic endeavors at age 8 at Cahoy's Gymnastics Training Center, In Omaha. He went on to compete as a Husker gymnast at the University of Nebraska. While there Eric developed an interest in grappling and Jui Jitsu. The very same day that he finished his degree, he made his way to Mick Doyle. For the past 14 months Eric has emmersed himself in combat sports learning Muay Thai, grappling and wrestling. Along the way, he has built a Muay Thai record of 4-1, all 4 victories coming by way of KO/TKO, and an MMA record of 4-0 all by way of submission. On November 15th, 2009 Eric captured the ISCF National Tournament lightweight title and has since earned himself a spot on Team USA with a 26 second submission victory this January 22nd.
